Busta Rhymes is gearing up for the release of his latest solo album and he’s got the big dogs coming out to play – Pharrell, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.

Announced in an Instagram post that included a Zoom with all four Hip Hop heavyweights, The Blockbusta is set to arrive on November 24 (which is Black Friday.) While Busta opens the clip dubbing the effort his 10th solo effort, it actually serves as his 11th.

“This project right here is executive produced by the fucking committee,” Swizzy says in the clip. “Pharrell the Pharaoh, Timbo the King, Swizz Beatz the student.”

Busta added to the group: “I’m so grateful that you chose me to be a part of your legacy.”

Pharrell said of the album, “You really feel illuminated. This illumination is good because I think people gon’ be able to get and feel that,” while Timbo added, “Timeless.”

The album follows 2020’s Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God – a star-studded effort that included appearances from the likes of Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Anderson .Paak, Q-Tip, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Rapsody, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Rakim and more. It debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, earning 38,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
